Dutch Minister of Economic Affairs visits Wascosa

The Dutch Minister of Economic Affairs, Henk Kamp, visited the Wascosa booth at transport logistic trade show. The reason for his visit was the German-Dutch Regional Development Partnership between the state of Bavaria and the provinces of Brabant and Limburg.

The Wascosa, a Swiss-based company manufactures and hires rail tank and freight cars. While at the event the Minister heard about a cooperative project which has seen the development of the flex freight system for transporting chemical products. Wascosa works with BASF, the Belgian commercial vehicle manufacturer van Hool, the Dutch VDL group, to develop the system.
