Ektank chooses Høglund for Integrated Automation System

Ektank has selected Høglund as supplier for the Integrated Automation System on its new chemical tankers ordered at Chengxi, China.

Høglund’s delivery will focus on integration of several ship systems to provide safe and efficient operations of the advanced equipment onboard.

Alarm and monitoring of the entire vessel will be carried out from the same operator stations as Power Management and Cargo Control. The vessel’s innovative WE Drive ‘take me home’ device from WeTech will be an integral part of the Power Management System. All valve operations are also to be integrated with Høglund’s own hardware.
