Jask Oil Terminals pipeline tender


The managing director of the National Iranian Oil Company has revealed to news agency ISNA that a tender for the construction of part of a pipeline to transfer crude oil to the Jask Oil Terminal in the southern Hormozgan Province is due to be held imminently.

Ali Kardor said a project to lay a section of the pipeline has already been tendered and the remaining part will be put out to tender in the next few days.

The pipeline will run for 1,000 kilometers Genaveh in the Bushehr Province to the port of Jask and the terminal.

The tender for the construction of the terminal were halted due to ‘foreign investors’ financially underwhelming proposals’.

Ali Kardor added: “Plans are in place to launch another tender, but should foreign investors fail to submit attractive proposals, we will turn to local financers.”
