Madesta wins contract with AB Klaipėdos Nafta

Madesta AG has been awarded a procurement and prefabrication contract for AB Klaipėdos Nafta petroleum terminal expansion project in Klaipėda, Lithuania.

Starting January next year, the company will supply more than 2,000 metric tonnes of prefabricated steel plates shipped from its Latvian fabrication plant.

AB Klaipėdos Nafta owns and operates three LNG terminals: Klaipėda LNG Terminal; Klaipėda Small-scale LNG Terminal and Cartagena LNG terminal and two oil terminals: Klaipėda Oil Terminal and Subačius Oil Terminal.

Madesta AG was founded in 2000 as a steel trader and has evolved into provider of steel solutions for major OEM and EPC companies participating in more than 100 projects on four continents.

Headquartered in Basel, Switzerland, the company operates and manages steel service centres in Latvia and Ukraine. Since its creation, the company has supplied more than 500,000 metric tons of prefabricated structures and plates.
