National Tank Truck Carriers elects new Chairman

The National Tank Truck Carriers, Inc. (NTTC) has elected Lee Miller as the organisation’s new Chairman of the Board at its Annual Conference in Chicago, IL. Lee succeeds Brian Wood, President of TransWood Carriers, Inc., who now serves as Chairman of the association’s Executive Committee.

Lee said: “It is truly an honor to serve as Chairman of the NTTC. I look forward to building on the strong foundation my predecessors have started. It is my intention, in the upcoming term, to focus diligently in working with my fellow carriers as we continue to expand NTTC’s advocacy and education initiatives. My main focus will be to support the cause of safety at every opportunity.”

National Tank Truck Carriers, Inc. (NTTC) is a trade association composed of over 550 companies that specialise in bulk transportation services by cargo tank throughout North America. The tank truck industry generates roughly 5.1% of all truck freight revenue, but that represents 25.6% of all truck freight in terms of tonnage due to the heavy nature of the liquid bulk products handled.
