Phase 1 of marine terminal and pipeline infrastructure for Seabrook Logistics


Seabrook Logistics LLC, owned 50/50 by subsidiaries of LBC Tank Terminals, LLC and Magellan Midstream Partners, has announce the receipt of the first AFRAMAX tanker and the commissioning of Phase I of its crude oil and condensate marine terminal and pipeline infrastructure.

The Phase I project consists of more than 700,000 barrels  of new crude oil and condensate storage, new AFRAMAX ship dock with 45 foot draft and a new 18 inch diameter pipeline, connected to an existing third party pipeline to transport crude oil to a Houston area refinery.

The next phase of the expansion project to add 1.7 million barrels of additional storage and construct a new 24 inch pipeline connected to Magellan’s Houston crude oil distribution system at Genoa Junction is currently under construction and anticipated to be in-service by mid-2018.
