San Marco Petroli and Decal plan LNG terminal
Initial feasibility studies have been completed for the development of an LNG terminal near Venice in Italy.
The 32,000-cubic metre LNG terminal would be built at Porto Marghera at the Port of Venice. It would receive feeder ships up to 30,000 cbm.
The LNG would be stored in a 30,000 cbm tank and two 1,000 cbm-capacity ‘bullet’ horizontal pressure vessels. The proposal includes a berth for LNG vessles from 7,500 to 30,000 cbm, and suitable for vessels up to 65,000 cbm.
