Unicon 1520 contract with URALCHEM-TRANS

The railway operator UNICON 1520 (part of United Wagon Company) has signed a contract to provide services for the transport of liquid cargos in tanks to URALCHEM-TRANS (transport subsidiary of JSC United Chemical Company URALCHEM).

UNICON 1520’s tank container fleet is able to transport a wide range of chemicals, food products and LPG, as well as providing transport in specialised SWAP-containers. The fleet is assembled with assistance from EXSIF and Eurotainer, which are leaders on the leasing market for volume-carrying rolling stock.

Executive Director of UNICON 1520, Victor Ivanov said: “We offer our customers more than freight transportation: we can now provide tailor-made complex logistics solutions. We are proud to have URALCHEM-TRANS as our first customer. I am confident that we will be able to meet the exacting requirements, which are in place for the transportation of hazardous freights in tank containers.”
