Union Pacific second quarter results

Union Pacific Corporation has reported 2017 second quarter net income of nearly $1.2bn. This compares to about $1bn in the second quarter 2016.

Union Pacific Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer, Lance Fritz said: “I am pleased with our results through the first six months, and look forward to continuing our momentum through the remainder of the year.
