2020 Container Owners Association members meeting cancelled

In reaction to the ongoing travel restrictions and advice surrounding large gatherings, the Container Owners Association (COA) has decided to cancel its 2020 members meeting, which was due to be held in October of this year.

It said: “Recognising the ongoing situation with the COVID-19 pandemic – and the restrictions to business travel – the COA Board has agreed that it is not practical to hold the next COA members meeting, which had been scheduled for Rotterdam on October 5, 2020.”

It added: “However, consideration is being given to a ‘virtual’ members meeting, covering key COA topics and projects.”
