Abbey awarded distribution contract by INEOS

Abbey Logistics has been awarded a bulk polymer distribution contract by INEOS Olefins & Polymers UK. 

The move means Abbey Logistics will take responsibility for transport planning and delivery services for INEOS Olefin and Polymers. INEOS O&P UK’s dedicated facility in Grangemouth will load the polymer product for delivery by road to several of its UK customers. 

Abbey said in a statement that bulk polymer transport is a growing area for the company, thanks to “significant investment” in its fleet and bag-to-bulk tanker service, along with increased space at its warehousing facility near Liverpool Port.
