Cryogenic Storage Tanks

For the second time the international conference Cryogenic Storage Tanks is held by TÜV SÜD in Germany in December 2018.

The main conference topics are current international tank standards, safety concepts, tank design criteria and operational experiences. Additionally, certain aspects of geotechnical investigations and foundation design for cryogenic tanks will be part of the discussions.

Liquefied gases are used in a wide range of applications in the entire industry. The increasing demand of these refrigerated liquefied gases demands the use of adequate storage facilities. Compliance with various technical and legal requirements during design, construction and operation of such facilities is required for safe operation of cryogenic storage tanks. The first international conference Cryogenic above ground storage tanks took place in 2016. The discussions and the exchange of experience showed the importance of this topics in an international environment.
