Eniram launches real-time support through mobile notifications

In a logical step to move data availability to mobile devices, Eniram, a Wärtsilä company, has launched Eniram Mobile that offers real-time decision-making support through mobile notifications, both onboard and shoreside.

The solution was created to support situational awareness based on collected historical and real-time data coupled with predictive analytics and allows captains, fleet managers, and senior executives instant access to the information needed for effective and timely decision making. In doing so, it makes planning more effective in view of safety and operations efficiency management.

The mobile notifications cover various operational aspects including safety, energy management and security. Decision makers get the latest information for speed over ground, trim, list, high wind and weather forecasts. The insights delivered via the mobile notifications are based on available vessel data and the analytical capabilities of the Eniram Insight Factory, which is in the centre of Eniram’s solutions.

“We’ve anxiously been waiting for this. We can now distribute the right data to the right people to take the right decisions at the right time. The feedback has been unequivocally positive, even from the most senior captains,” says Patrik Dahlgren, SVP, Global Marine Operations for Celebrity Cruises, a Royal Caribbean Cruises company, which co-developed the platform.

Eniram has been delivering mobile notifications since 2017 for Royal Caribbean, and the service is now generally available. Eniram Mobile is being officially launched this week at Seatrade 2018.
