Eurotainer to install digital thermometers on all new liquid tank containers

For the last 50 years, Eurotainer has been a major player in the tank container leasing industry, servicing a wide range of customers from industries as diverse as petroleum, chemical, mining, food and transportation.

In that view Eurotainer has decided to equip all its newbuild liquid tanks with the digital thermometers.

The digital thermometer buffers the measured temperature in an internal log for two years. Even if no telematics device is installed, Eurotainer’s customers can read-out these buffered temperatures when needed. 

“In the design and construction of our newbuild liquid tank containers, we will install an additional bracket that allows a standard tank to be transformed easily within minutes into a “smart tank”, enabling our customers to quickly start using telematics in the cloud,” said Eurotainer.
