German Federal Minister is new patron of UNITI expo

Peter Altmaier, Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy, is a new patron of UNITI expo 2020, which takes place at the Stuttgart State Fair from May 26-28.

UNITI said in a statement: “The political support underscores the great importance that the Federal Government attaches to UNITI expo as the leading trade fair for the petrol station and carwash sector.”

It added that as Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy, Peter Altmaier is committed to both global climate protection and a secure energy supply.

The different future forms of energy for the transport and transportation sector will be presented in a special show as part of The UNITI expo. From biofuels to electromobility, and from hydrogen to the promising synthetic fuels known as e-fuels.

The conference topics at the show include global trends, digitalisation and sustainability.

Elmar Kühn, Managing Director of UNITI-Fuel GmbH, organiser of the fair, said: “We are very pleased to have Peter Altmaier as the patron for our trade fair. The support is particularly important with regard to the challenge of the energy turnaround and setting the course for establishing climate-friendly and environmentally friendly mobility.”
