Hamburg to host COA Members Meeting, Flexitank Meeting and Container Pavilion

The Container Owners Association is to meet in Hamburg on November 4 for its anticipated Members Meeting, Flexitank Meeting and Container Pavilion.

The COA Members Meeting on November 4 will focus on key container industry issues: 

– Market Trends and Sustainable Finance

– Container Manufacturing and Design

– International Plant Protection Convention – Shipping Container Task Force Meeting Report

– Special Focus Session on Container Coatings

– COA IT/Telematics Work Group Meeting

– Development of an interoperability API for Reefer Telematics

– CEDEX Coding

– Container Grading

– Plus reports on the latest activities from the COA, IICL and COA Regional Branch

The COA Flexitank Meeting on November 5 is separate from the members meeting on the previous day and a separate registration is required.

The COA is organising its next Flexitank Conference at the Sofitel Hotel, Hamburg on November 5. The meeting will take place from 10.00 to 13.00. 

Topics will include: Shipping Line Perspectives on Flexis; Risk assessment; Incidents and causes; Environment & Life-Cycle; Reefers & 40fts.

It will be followed by a buffet lunch for all participants. Participation is free-of-charge for two participants from each COA Member company. There will be a fee for additional participants and for non-Members.
