Humbly Grove Energy to be sold by Petronas to EPH

Petronas, Malaysia’s integrated petroleum corporation, has taken advice from Dentons on the sale of its wholly owned subsidiary Humbly Grove Energy Ltd to EP UK Investments Ltd (EPUKI), Dentons said in a statement.

It said that the Dentons team was led by UK Energy partner Humphrey Douglas and supported by Energy senior associate Daniel Saville and associate Michael Walton, Tax partner James Meakin, Real Estate partner Alex Coulter and associate Hannah Cockayne, and Environment and Safety partner Helen Bowdren, consultant Sam Boileau and associate Amy Morin.

EPUKI is a 100 per cent owned subsidiary of Energetický a prumyslový holding a.s. (EPH). This acquisition means EPH group adds to its portfolio of underground gas storage facilities, which it currently owns in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Germany. Humbly Grove Energy Ltd owns and operates an underground gas storage facility in the UK.

PwC UK Corporate Finance acted as financial advisor, led by Jon Shelley, and supported by Stuart Coburn and David Isaacs.
