HÜNI + CO presents its new Halar® ECTFE at ACHEMA 2018

Every three years, the world of chemical and process industries gathers in Frankfurt am Main at the ACHEMA, and once again this year HÜNI + CO was represented with a booth. As a world first the new Halar^® ECTFE was presented, which was developed together with Solvay.

The new Halar^® ECTFE opens up completely new application possibilities for the coating system , which has been well established in the field of corrosion protection for many years . A new application method makes it possible for the first time to be coated in closed containers and containers and represents an economically attractive alternative to the lining of tank containers with fluoropolymers.

In addition to the newly developed Halar^® ECTFE, the established corrosion protection coatings with ECTFE , ETFE and PFA, as well as the two Tank Container special coatings Chemline^® and Proco-Email^® were the focus of numerous discussions.
