Koole Terminals appoints Juriaan Steenland as COO

Koole Terminals has appointed Juriaan Steenland as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Koole Terminals. Juriaan will assume his responsibilities as of October 1 and will take a position in the Board of the Koole Terminals Group.

With this appointment Koole completes the search process for an experienced COO to lead the operations of the group, according to CEO John Kraakman.

Juriaan has a long standing experience within the liquid bulk storage industry, with 3 years at Vopak as Commercial Manager, 11 years at VTTI, of which 7 years as Managing Director for its terminals in the U.S. and currently as Managing Director for the ETT-activities in Rotterdam.

This announcement stresses Koole’s ambition for further sustainable growth of the organisation and Juriaan will, together with the other members of the Executive Board, be responsible for realising this objective.
