Kuwait Downstream Summit postponed

Kuwait Downstream Summit postponed

Due to be held April 6-7 at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Kuwait, The Kuwait Downstream Summit has now been rescheduled to December 7-8 at the same location as a result of the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak, it has announced in a statement.

The statement said: “Mindful of the current and evolving health crisis, and after close consultation with the event partners, we have taken the decision to postpone the Kuwait Downstream Summit.”

The decision was made as the World Health Organisation (WHO) has now declared the corona outbreak “a global public health emergency” and countries around the world have begun enacting measures to restrict the spread of the virus.

The summit describes itself as “considering the current energy landscape, bringing together regulatory authorities, senior stakeholders, policy makers, influencers and solution providers who are driving the energy eco-system in the region.”
