Pemex Goes to New York to establish dialogue with investors, analysts and rating agencies

Jointly with the Secretariat of Finance and Public Credit (SHCP), the Corporate Financial Office of Petróleos Mexicanos embarked on a two-day working tour in New York City, to hold meetings with institutional investors, financial analysts and rating agencies on the 9th and 10th of January.

The purpose of the working tour is to communicate the company’s strategic goals and objectives to the international financial community, which are aimed towards strengthening the company’s finances and improving its profitability.

“Petróleos Mexicanos maintains its commitment towards healthy finances, while seeking to stabilise and increase its production platform with added investments to modernise its business units within a framework of safety and environmental sustainability,” the company said in a statement. “This is based on the strategy for the strengthening of Pemex that has been announced by the Mexican Government.”

This working tour will allow Petróleos Mexicanos to widen its communications channels and to continue consolidating its presence in the international markets.
