Polymer and crumb rubber modified binders manufactured at Kwinana by Puma Bitumen

Puma Bitumen has announced that at the end of 2020, manufacture of polymer and crumb rubber modified binders commenced at its plant in Kwinana, Western Australia.

It said: “Finalising this project means that world class Puma PMB formulations are now available to our customers in Western Australia.”

It added: “The completion of the waste tyre derived crumb rubber modified binder manufacturing facility supports our mission to embrace circular economy concepts and promote more sustainable road construction.

“A big thank you to the team who worked around the clock so that the plants of Puma Bitumen can manufacture sustainable and high-quality bituminous products.”
