Primoris Services announces Canadian EPC award for 3 storage tanks

Primoris Services Corporation has been awarded an EPC contract for three storage tanks at an oil sands facility in northeast Alberta, Canada by a major Canadian oil sands producer. 

The contract was secured by Primoris Willbros Canada, part of the Power, Industrial, & Engineering segment.

The award is for detailed engineering, procurement, fabrication, and field construction of three new API 650 storage tanks at an oil sands facility in northeast Alberta, Canada. The project provides approximately 850,000 barrels of new fluid storage at the facility.

Engineering work on this project is scheduled to begin immediately. Construction is scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2019 and to be completed in the third quarter of 2020.
