PUSH, a post-COVID-19 support programme, is launched by HAROPA

French port operator HAROPA has launched a post-COVID-19 support programme called PUSH to help its customers re-launch their business activities.

HAROPA, which is a joint venture between the ports of Le Havre, Rouen and Paris, will help companies resume their logistics through PUSH – an acronym for ‘Unified HAROPA Support Programme’ (Programme Unique de Soutien by HAROPA).

Catherine Rivoallon, Chair of HAROPA’s board of directors and process lead for the unified Seine port complex, said: “In the context of the economic crisis we are currently experiencing, the Seine Axis ports are genuinely effective instruments for the support and relaunch of economic activity, because over and above the import/export flows these ports make possible, they are also logistical and industrial clusters that generate value, plus over 60,000 jobs.

“For that reason, the three HAROPA ports have decided that this unified support programme will be rolled out along the entire Seine Axis.”

The programme provides a business information centre for all industrial sectors; maintenance of a constant watch over port; maritime and multimodal service provision; and the offer of specific support for efforts to find logistics solutions and dedicated customer services. This single point of contact will make it possible to identify need and support firms using experts and a network embedded alongside the major international economic zones, according to an online statement.
