Suttons achieves a Silver rating on the EcoVadis assessment

Suttons International has announced it has achieved a SILVER rating on the EcoVadis assessment.

One of its European customers recently contacted Suttons International with the request to complete the EcoVadis assessment – an online assessment that ranks companies Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) rating.  

Following this assessment Suttons achieved a score positioning the company in the top 20 percent of the entire logistics industry! 

The EcoVadis assessment, works by reviewing 21 criteria across four themes: Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. These are then analysed by a team of specialists and processed to create a final CSR score. 

CSR is becoming an increasingly hot topic amongst customers, and over the next year it will become a focus area for Suttons too. The EcoVadis assessment has become an industry standard tool that many of our customers value for evaluating CSR ratings, so such a high score is very significant for our customers confidence in us, as well as our own CSR ambitions going forward.
