Suttons announces European fleet expansion

Suttons International has announced an increase to its European short-sea tank container fleet by 50 baffled and ground operated 35,000 litre tanks, which it says allows it to “maximise payloads without compromising on safety”. 

It said this continuous investment in the fleet “represents Suttons’ commitment to the European short-sea market”. 

All the tank containers are for general purpose and spot use, but Suttons also owns various lined tanks, which can be rented for carrying more specialist types of chemicals.

The additional tanks are as a result of recent business wins for Suttons International, it added: “to satisfy demand and bringing the total number of swap bodies in our European short-sea fleet up to 400”.
