TransContainer launches tank container depot at St Petersburg Terminal

TransContainer has launched a specialised tank container service depot at its Logistika Terminal in Shushary in St Petersburg, in cooperation with Ruslinkcargo.

The depot provides maintenance, repair, cleaning and inspection services for tank container owners and operators.

TransContainer will use the depot to organise tank container block trains on a regular basis. The first route launched is to the station of Uren in Nizhny Novgorod region, which it said is “for oil products to be carried to China and Republic of Korea via Vostochnaya Stevedoring Company in the Russian Far East”.
