Zeebrugge has a new railway connection to Bologna


Zeebrugge has a new intermodal railway connection with Bologna in Italy. Launched in June, the train connects Bologna Interporto and C. Ro Ports Brittanniadok from the Cobelfret-group in Zeebrugge.

The weekly service leaves Zeebrugge on Wednesday and arrives at Bologna on Friday. By the end of this year the train will operate three circulations per week. The train has a capacity of 34 ITUs. Once arrived at Zeebrugge the ITUs can be embarked easily on to different destinations in the United Kingdom and in Scandinavian countries.

The railway service is developed by GTS and BLS.
